Here are some early character sketches! Kelly got less refined, Fox cleaned up, and Ariel... well... he didn't change much. 

Is This What You Wanted went through a lot of changes... Tessa and I originally began planning it in 2014, but as time passed we kept updating it as we got a feel for it.
