Wow that's a lot of Azalea sketches! She went through a lot of development... we wanted her to be a character who could grow visually, and making sure we had the groundwork for that was important. Tessa suggested going bright candy colors early on and I liked that– we did a lot of passes trying to find her a palette that matched the tone of the comic. 

She also had to contrast the other demons in the comic because... yeah... there's more!!!! Next time!!!!
